What it is

The holder is a Mac mini at 80% scale, 101.8 × 101.8 × 43.2 mm, worked out from Apple's own photographs of the front, the back and the underside. The ports on the front and back are cut right through the wall. Behind them are the black edges of the coasters, which is what makes them read as ports rather than dents.

Each coaster is 96 mm square and 7.5 mm thick, with the same corner radius as the Mac mini, so the four of them drop in as one stack. There's a notch at the back for a finger, and the cap leaves a millimetre of air above the top key.

The round foot twists on, a bayonet with 0.2 mm all round, so there's no hardware and no glue. The first version locked with a 0.05 mm interference fit, which is a polite way of saying it didn't come off. This one does.

Nothing on the holder is printed over air. Every hole in a wall has a pointed roof and every overhang stays under 45°, so none of it needs supports. The coasters are the only two-colour part: the legends are inlaid flush, which means two filaments on the same layers.
